Therapy

We offer therapy in blocks of 10 hours of standard therapy or 4 hours of body therapy. We would like to offer more courses after the first one, but the time between courses depends on our financial resources and the amount of other people waiting for support for therapy.

Please contact us at daggry.fonden@protonmail.com if you wish to receive therapy. Our starting rate for therapy with our therapists is DKK 200 per session. If you cannot afford to pay this, please contact us and we can work something out anyway.

All therapists can offer therapy in English.

If you have the opportunity and desire to support us financially so that we can continue our support for therapy, you can become a member of Daggry KBH:

    Huma Fatima

I am a clinical psychologist and certified NADA acupuncturist. My practice is close to Nørrebro Station, and I offer therapy sessions for adults, young people, couples, relatives and groups.

My clinic is open to anyone who has been exposed to various types of trauma and life challenges. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy. I work with intersectional and norm-critical perspectives. I combine systemic therapy with a strong focus on the body's role in the healing process, recognizing the inseparable connection between mind, body and society. Tine Tvergaard

I am a psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience working with:

Young people and adults with depression and anxiety.

    LGBTQ* and minority stress.

    Developmental and shock trauma.

I have a number of educations behind me and my method will therefore vary depending on who is seeking help. In working with trauma conditions, I will always focus on the nervous system and your body's inherent resources and ability to heal itself. At Daggryfonden I offer both individual and group courses.

    Sophia Stoppard

I am a psychodynamic therapist working with adults in Copenhagen in person and online. My approach is empathetic, flexible and respectful. I believe that you are the expert in your own life and my role is to try to understand your inner world, ask questions and gently challenge patterns that you would like to change. I work predominantly with people who have experienced trauma, whether from a single event or many cumulative experiences relating to discrimination, abuse and other types of interpersonal harm.

Psychodynamic therapy is a way of considering the patterns in your life and how your past affects your present. We can explore the psychological roots of your emotional struggles and how your unconscious beliefs shape your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I work from the understanding that personal problems are individual ways of trying to navigate an unjust world. My approach is norm-critical with an intersectional feminist lens.

I have a Masters in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am a member of the BACP whose ethical framework I follow www.bacp.co.uk

The sessions are in English. You can contact me at sophiastoppardtherapy@gmail.com or through my website: www.sophiastoppardtherapy.com

    Persefoni Kaltaki

I am a clinical psychologist, and currently I am completing my advanced training in existential psychotherapy. My approach is deeply rooted in finding meaning in life’s complexities. By focusing on the present moment, I will support you in uncovering and challenging limiting patterns, fostering resilience, and identifying pathways toward greater self-determination.

I have specialised training in supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse from Women’s Aid, offering a safe, compassionate space for healing and empowerment. My practice is trauma-informed, client-centred, and grounded in promoting personal growth.

Through a phenomenological approach, I am fostering a supportive, empathetic, and non-judgemental space. My role is to ask questions and help you reflect on your experiences, helping you discover your own insights along the way. This process allows for the development of personal responsibility and self-awareness, paving the way for an authentic and fulfilling life aligned with one’s values and aspirations.

Our sessions can be conducted online or in person in the heart of Copenhagen. I offer therapy in English and Greek.

    Mads Ananda Lodahl

I am trained in somatic psychotherapy and have had my own clinic in Copenhagen for six years.

My primary focus is to create a safe and meaningful space where queer and trans people can heal and grow, but everyone is welcome in my space, and I work with clients of all kinds.

I work from a norm-critical and trauma-informed approach, and I focus on moving at a pace where you can develop without becoming overwhelmed. Not too much and not too little.

There isn’t one single technique or form of therapy that fits all people and all problems. That’s why YOU will always be the most important piece of the puzzle when you work with me.

I offer sessions in my clinic in Østerbro or online. In Danish or English.

    Elena Skoli

I am a Psychologist with a Master’s degree specialization in Social Psychology and Psychosocial Interventions. I am also trained in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. In my practice I integrate Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-centered Approach within a compassion-focused and socially aware framework.

During the last 10 years I had the opportunity to accompany people with different needs in their healing and growth journey. Thus, I have worked supporting individuals from marginalized social groups, including LGBTQ+ people, individuals seropositive to HIV and hepatitis, refugees, people in prisons and individuals with disabilities.

Approaching mental health holistically, I acknowledge the importance of creating a compassionate society. For this reason, I actively participate in organizing awareness campaigns and events on issues related to gender-based violence, sexual identity, gender identity, and human rights and multicultural psychotherapy. I have volunteered with organizations.

In our work together I adopt a person-centered approach and adapt the way of working to the needs of each individual while cultivating a compassionate stance towards our suffering. We will collaboratively set our therapeutic goals and I aim to create a safe space for people to come in contact with their suffering safely, and work towards healing and preventing it in the future. As I am based in Greece our sessions will be held online, thus emergency contact and plan have to be collaboratively set.
